Today, the Philippines formally opened its first-ever pavilion in Davos.
The ribbon cutting and opening conversations brought together Ambassador Bernard Faustino La Madrid Dy, Philippine Ambassador to Switzerland, and Ambassador Manuel Antonio J. Teehankee, Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the World Trade Organization, marking a confident Philippine presence at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting and setting the tone for a week of engagement with global leaders, investors, and partners.
This milestone was made possible through the collaboration of Philippine government institutions, private sector partners, and stakeholders who helped bring the InvestPhilippines Business Pavilion to life.
From dialogue and trust to long-term partnerships, the opening reflected how the Philippines engages the world: with substance, culture, and a shared commitment to cooperation.
The pavilion is open. The conversations begin. Mabuhay.
